Blessed are you,
Lord our God,
Who watches over us
In times of trial and danger.
Thanksgiving fills our hearts,
as we rejoice in You,
our Lord and Holy Protector.
We who live in the midst of storm and sickness,
of war and danger,
who are daily exposed to evil of every sort,
rejoice in Your constant
and parental love for us.
Surrounded by darkness and the shadow of fear,
we do not falter,
for we trust that Your constant care
cradles us
and keeps us safe.
With angelic attention,
You watch over our home
and each of our bodily temples.
Your holy spirits surround us
and, in winged wonder,
call us to prayer
and to confidence.
Guard us in this time of danger,
as Your Holy Presence
fills the darkness of this moment
with the splendour of Your shelter.
Blessed are You, Lord our God,
who watches over us in times of trial and danger.
Amen (+)

Pain and suffer prayer II
Blessed are You,
Lord our God,
whose messenger is death.
Lord and Conductor of the Universe,
we acknowledge and affirm the mystery
of sunsets and farewells,
of departures and finales
as integral notes in Your divine chorus.
We are thankful even for the pains of daily dying,
for the daily separations
that are the counterpoint in our common lives.
With gratitudes, we listen to the yearly song of creation,
the melody of spring, summer and autumn
which rises till the death-rest of winter,
only to begin again in the evergreen resurrection of spring.
We take joy, as our hearts rise to You,
that this divine harmony of death and life
was sung by prophets and holy people,
and that Your Son, Jesus,
sang that song with His whole person
in His death and resurrection from the tomb.
We are grateful for His living example,
for Him who found it so difficult departing from His friends
so that a greater experience of life
might be His and theirs.
In His footsteps,
along that path of death and resurrection,
we process toward our own death
and resurrection in You.
Help us, Compassionate God,
to let Your ancient and eternal song of death and life
be played out in each of us,
as we live out our faith that death is but a doorway
that opens unto greater and fuller expression of life,
that opens to a final union with You who are life!
Blessed are You,
Lord of Life,
who alone knows the hour of our death
and ultimate union with You.
Blessed are You,
Lord our God,
whose messenger of death.

Pain and suffer prayer I
Blessed are You,
Lord our God,
Who shares pain and suffering as part of
The mystery of the life.
Lord our God, Incomprehensible One,
Your sacrament of suffering,
the mystery of pain,
has burst into our lives.
We have been offered the cup of bitterness.
So that we may share in the sorrow of Your Daughter, Eve,
and so help to heal
the sickness of our planet.
We thank You
For this opportunity to explore,
With those around us and with all the world,
the puzzle of pain.
May we only seek the fullness of life,
not rejecting the element of pain
inherent of growth
and essential in each search for wholeness.
We, as disciples of Christ,
follow in the footsteps of the Suffering Saviour,
asking that this pain
have special meaning for us and for all the earth.
Blessed are You,
Lord our God
Who shares pain and suffering as part of
The mystery of life.
In Ave Maria's name, amen.
In Suffering Saviour's name, amen.

Blessing Prayer in a Time of Sickness
Lord of Health and Wholeness,
in Your divine plan, You have seen fit
to include, within Your marvellous creation,
disease and sickness.
Life becomes a balance of sickness and health,
just as time is balanced between night and day.
Your Lord now lies sick
and desires to be restored
to the balance of good health.
Hear, O Lord, our prayers
for the healing of the Lord, him/her whom we love so much.
Remove from him/her this illness
so that, fully recovered and restored to health,
the Lord, he/she may return with renewed zeal
to the daily life that we share.
We trust fully in the Divine Power
to stir the hidden healing powers of the body.
So awakened, these God-given powers
will remove all that causes pain and sickness.
addressing the sick person (God) by all the Holy Archangels:
With abounding hope and faith,
we now place our hands upon you
as we call forth the healing medicine of God's grace.
Channels of healing may lay hands on the sick person(God) and pray in silence.
Divine Healer, the Lord of Wholeness and our Guardian Angels,
together we place ourselves in Your hands.
We ask for healing
but also for acceptance of Our holy plan for us.
Help us to embrace
whatever we have decreed for the Lord Yahweh and Jesus Christ,
Assist them in the acceptance of this sickness
as we support them
with the strength of Your Holy Spirit.
addressing the sick person:
May you be blessed
with the power and the love of God , nine celestial of choirs of Holy Archangels,
and the affection of those who love you.
